About Me
My journey into the healing arts began when I left the east coast for the first time and made my way to New Mexico where I found my soul’s true home at the age of 20. My college’s Americorp program brought me to Ghost Ranch that summer to work as the Children’s Activities Coordinator. Instantly, I felt an overwhelming welcoming from and kinship to the Land. My life’s journey had truly begun. In 2004, a summer long permaculture certification course brought me to Lama Foundation north of Taos, a sustainable spiritual community and education center dedicated to “the awakening of consciousness with respect for all spiritual traditions”. I, then, made a four-year commitment to immense learning and devoted service to Lama’s mission as a resident of the Foundation. I also gave birth there to my first child, Alia, and began my journey into motherhood. Today, I am also the mother of 9 year old, Ariel. All of this led me on a road of life-long dedication to inward inquiry & contemplation, personal healing & self-growth, service to the health and healing of people and the reclamation of balance of our precious planet.
Since leaving the Foundation in 2007, I have been fully devoted as a forever Student of Life. I traveled in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador learning the earth-centered traditions and plant-medicine ways of these sacred cultures, underwent a midwifery immersion in Cusco, Peru through La Matrona in 2009, took an apprenticeship of Ayurveda Postpartum Care and Abhyanga - oil massage - in 2012 with the support of Tovia Safford who was taught under Isha Oakes of the Sacred Window, studied under many wild-crafters and herbalist teachers including Cathy Hope and Doug Simons of the southwest region, and dedicated myself to the four-year Red Road path of the Ollintlahuimetztli Mexica Tradition of Teotihuacan, Mexico in 2013-2016 through the guidance and wisdom of Angelika Heikaus and Abuela Malinalli.
In 2014, I began my on-going studies of the healing ways of massage and bodywork with the renowned school of NMAHA - New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts. This focus of embodied knowledge and practice has led me to study craniosacral work with Etienne Piersman, Ayurveda for Women correspondent course by Sunny Rose Healey, Flower Essence Therapy through FES, 5-Rhythm Movement Meditation with the help of Visudha and Chloe Goodwin, and the NIA Technique, undergoing intensive studies as a White and Green Belt through Kelle Rae Oien of StudioNia of Santa Fe.
I hope to bring this conglomeration of love and life experience to you in service to your highest and healthiest self.
When time allows in addition to being a full-time mother and health practitioner, I identify myself also as a singer, musician, dancer, gardener, nature inhabitant, plant alchemist, ceremonialist, homesteader and lover and student of the mystical traditions and life-ways. My desire and deepest soulful intention is to integrate all parts of myself together as one without separation - work, play, purpose, profound love of life and devotion to all that is sacred.
I offer up immense gratitude to all of my teachers and all of the wisdom-keepers, trail-blazers and torch-bearers who have crossed my path, opened my heart and shown the way.
